Go check out a Jonas Brothers signed guitar at the San Diego Fair
After a really big show at the San Diego County Fair Grandstand Stage in 2007, all three members of the Jonas Brothers, Nick, Joe and Kevin, contributed their “John Hancocks’ ” to a now-priceless guitar.
The Disney Channel stars are among a number of artists assisting with efforts to raise funds for the Don Diego Fund, which provides financial support for college-bound students from San Diego County.
Formed in 1985, the fund serves as a tribute to Tom Hernandez. As Don Diego, he presided over the county fair from 1947 until he died in 1984.
High school students who participated in the annual fair, or associated fairground events, are eligible. So fair, the fund has dispensed nearly $500,000 to some 116 students.
You don’t have to visit the fair to participate, though that makes it a bit more fun It’s a chance to view the items in person. They’ll be on display there until August 2 and online as well at www.dondiegofund.org.
Other autographed items include a Tony Gwynn baseball, Shawne Merriman football and Julio Cesar Chavez boxing gloves. Electric and acoustic guitars are signed by such past Fair performers as B.B. King; Fergie; Earth, Wind & Fire; Styx, and the aforementioned Jonas “bros. Also available are guitars signed by 2009 Music Mania Grandstand artists such as Heroes of Woodstock, David Cook and Loretta Lynn.
Check the site frequently, as new items are being added throughout the auction’s duration.

I wanted to contact you about something I saw at the Disney 365 Store in Downtown Disney [Disney 365 replaced Libby Luu's]. They had authentic clothing that the Jonas brothers wore from “Jonas”, an outfit for each of them. It included the magazine from “That Ding You Do” called “Teenster” and the two boomerangs with “Jonas” on the side. Nick’s drumsticks were also there, and Kevin’s messenger bag came with his outfit. They had Jonas shirts you could purchase but they were not replicas of the displayed clothing. The clothing itself was also not for sale, only for display.
At Build-A-Bear they had a “Camp Rock” shirt and red bag, I’ll try to go back and take pictures if you’d like.
Also, an outfit of Demi Lovato’s from “Sonny with a Chance” was also on display.

Wildlife Parasitology~ *_*
Bought it a day before my fieldcourse.I never thought i will ever have my very own hairdryer tho hehe yea~.. i didnt use these things :P this explains why my hair were always wet and messy.
I was hoping i could curl my hair permanently in the saloon but after a hairtest, i was advice not to due to my previous zigzag perm~ But a temporary curl is okay~ so~.. TADA!! Me my very own hairstylish!

BACK! Im done with my Wildlife Parasitology field course!! Woohoo~!!! A week on parasites - indeed those 7 days was quite an experience \(^o^)/ I cant wait to post on the things we did, yet, it was too much to talk about that i donno where to start!

Im doing my Wildlife Parasitology field course in Kindrogan Perthshire at the moment (for a week). *_* I have to wake up 6am everyday and work til 9/10pm!
Quite interesting tho~... I'll post all about it as soon as i finish my field course okay ^^ I have 3 days break before my family comes to Aberdeen on the 15th June 2009.

Mark Radice and the Ten Year Old Blues
Jeezo! Sorry (yet again) for abstaining from posting on this dear blog/graveyard/wasteland......but!....I have returned (for now) and with something I hope you will all enjoy. Continuing with child singing sensations comes the complete pre-puberty releases of the very talented Mark Radice. The son of record producer Gene Radice, Mark shone from a very early age in the studio - writing over 50 of his own compositions by the age of 11. His first release came at the age of 10 with Wooden Girl/Save Your Money in 1967, then Natural Morning/You Took the Words Right Out of My Life in 1968, followed by 10,000 Year Old Blues/Three Cheers (For the Sad Man) in the same year. Finally came Richest Man In the World/Girl By The Meter in '69, which was the last single before his self-titled debut album in 1971. In addition to both singing and writing the releases - he also
played a part in producing and arranging the records too - nice! After allowing these recordings flow down your ear canals, I'm sure you'll agree with me on what a superb talent Mark was and indeed still is! Mr Radice grew up to become a successful songwriter (including a variety of numbers for Sesame Street - wahey!) and his official site is here for much more information and a full discog.
