So Exhausted!

Here's the latest photo of me taken in Queen's Mother Library last night. 

Yea~... this semester sucks.

Jeri got his new ipad just a week ago, and I tried drawing on it (using Art Studio app). 

Even my drawings are.....

...well...

....stressed

I am currently addicted to one of Jeri's ipad games. 

Do you know Jubeat? 

It's a series of arcade music video games and it was somewhat new to me last summer when I went to Hongkong (photo below).

I don't remember seeing one in japan eventhough it was released 2 years ago.

So anyway, 

IT IS NOW AVAILABLE ON IPAD! XD 

And I've been playing with it during my whole free time :P I mean come on, they even have Studio Ghibli's song! (Totoro~ ♫ Totoro~♪♬)

Moving on

The macaron I ordered from Macaronique (12 for 22pounds) arrived last night. ^^

The flavours are Madagascan Vanilla, Heavenly Dark Chocolate (my  fav), Rose & Lychee, Milk Chocolate & Passion Fruit, Simply Pistachio (good very good keluar janggut) and Piquant Lemon.

Aaahhh colourful macarons, you make me happy.

But it does still makes me wonder.. 

Why are macarons that expensive ah?

Pu3's 1st Pumpkin Carving

Before Halloween me and my flatmates challenged ourselves to carve a pumpkin. 

And so.. it was a success o(^▽^)o☆彡

Can you guess which one is mine? 

 It was our first time to carve pumpkins, so we were really excited. 

In my case

I made a sketch before I started.

Handling the knife was scary! But I did it anyway ^^ Im actually proud of it!

Sa carved two pumpkins, the triagular-eye face as well as the witch house! Awesome no?! 

Nano on the other hand made a cute anime face ╰( ≥ ∀ ≤ )╯

Please note that we did this out of curiosity and for the fun of it.

Playing with slow shutter speed

Before I start, I would like to make special greetings to my two youngest brother and sister.

Their birthdays are 3 weeks apart actually :P so Im doing for both in one go.

Like some other nights, 

I would spent some time with my flatmates in the living room with our laptops. 

Since we all use macbooks, 

I thought that it would be cool to take a picture.

But then, I accidentally switched the camera into a slow shutter speed mode.

and this is the outcome. ╰(￣Д￣;)╮

Nano was like ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ"so cool, lets take more photos with that mode" 

and so...

We spent the night taking slow shutter speed shots.

Light source? Iphone. ヽ(◉ ∀ ◉)ノ

Atleast we found it somewhat amusing. ヽ(◠ ∀ ◠)ノ

My Illustrated Journal and the brand-new Love!

There were no television nor internet in Selingan Turtle Island. 

So I had time drawing a comic journal about our adventure there! 

I even water-coloured the first 2 pages!

Bought a cute turtle keychain too ^^

I miss all these - used to make a hell lot illustrated diaries everyday.

Now I spent my free time on internet surfing. 

How internet changed one's life... 

Well, atleast I still got it.

Living RazorShell Seafood

Few nights ago~
Jeri treated me out for a hotpot dinner in Shanghai Restaurant (located on Portland Street, Aberdeen).
The restaurant specialises in fresh seafood (recommended!)... Not that I never seen living sea-creatures to be cooked for dinner, but it was the 1st time seeing living Razor clams!

Here's the photo i took with my iphone (T_T I should have brought my camera!) 

I even took a video of it! 

I tried these things before, (my family are big fans of seafood ;)).. but weren't as big! 

The thing is... I never thought it looked so much like a WORM! (and I couldn't stand these creepy wrigglers!)  

The shell popped open once it was put into the boiling soup~ I was shocked by the real ugly alien looks of that creature. I didn't remember eating such a thing! 

I was afraid to try at first. So Jeri took the bite.  

I took my guts to eat the next cooked one afterwards.

But...

I couldn't take my mind off that horrible vision while chewing its 'tail'. 

At the end...

I couldn't finish it. 

(Hardly even a bite)

How bout you guys? Any of you love Razor clams??

 I know its a common seafood but I seriously never thought I would feel this way all the sudden!

World Cup! *_* Not much of a fan (due to my football-obsessed boyfriend).. lol...
Nevertheless, seems like my holiday's going to be all about it. ^^
Sa bought a whole FIFA World Cup 2010 sticker box (containing 100 packs) and actually recorded a video on the process of sticking them onto the album! Played along with the theme song, Waka Waka :) Love it!

I am still alive

I am very glad the 3-day-sandwich is finally over! T_T 1 more paper to go! 

Such horrible days~.. T_T Being up all nights munching in animal facts.. T_T So unhealthy! Then, dark swollen bags appeared under my eyes, and I never seem to get it hidden under my makeup. Horrible-horrible face to look at. 
Thank you for putting my exam dates, not only early, but next to each other~ I enjoyed it very much, yipee~....!

So anyway, it'll be 3 days till my last paper. For now, let me rest and talk about happy random stuff!

They're toy capsule machines that were found everywhere during my HK and Japan trip.

Pu3 and Her LX3

Bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC LX-3 from crazycamera.co.uk 3-4weeks ago and thought that I got scammed! Found all the bad reviews about that site after getting no luck from my items in 2 weeks.
I was devastated and heartbroken for a few days expecting 290pounds money loss and no camera at all.

But alas~ I got an email from crazycamera a week ago saying that they have dispatched my item, and received my camera set the next day! Imagine my relief! Syukur Alhamdullilah~..

Why I buy a new camera? Cause my Sony Cyber-shot have lost some of its function especially focusing (although its still good under bright light). I get disappointed with the photo outcome now. Some hotos in blog are taken with iphone ^^ sadly its hard to handle!

Now I got my LX3, I kept on getting demands from my friends and family to post up the photos took with my new camera ^_^ Sabar bebz. Note that I haven't learn much on the correct way to fully use my LX3.

Here are my 1st few photos taken.
Strawberry cake (i love!), my flatmates' stethoscope, Jeri's chocolate biscuit, my pink recycle bag bear and the tiny cactus I bought last 2 years (Dodi! Peter! Its still alive!)

Welcome to the dull and gloomy Aberdeen.
Nah, this was taken in late afternoon with Pinhole Scene mode. The weather nowadays are quite good actually.Except for the borders, the scenery photos are not photoshopped just so you know.

Ugh, gloomy stuffs makes me sad. Go to the bright one 1st la, we'll go back later.

Kings College - the landmark of Aberdeen University. It is an ancient university (the 5th oldest in UK) which was founded 1495. That's 515 years ago!
